We provide more than just growth capital. We help brands build by providing support in key strategic areas such as operational efficiencies, recruitment, procurement, marketing and property. The Otis team is filled with entrepreneurs who have successfully grown businesses and teams, and have all the experience to help guide your business.
What do we do?
We invest in a wide range of business, but what we really invest in is situations and opportunities.
We can invest in distressed asset, equity investments or complete acquisitions. We like to invest in and work with existing teams to achieve a common goal for all parties.
We can also work on a consultancy basis but as business owners ourselves we always would prefer to have ‘skin in the game’.
On selected opportunities we bring in a small number of co-investors and operating partners we already know. We’re not raising a fund and this isn’t open to the public — if you’re someone we’d naturally think of for that, you’ll hear from us.
What we look for
We’re most active in leisure, experiential and family entertainment, but we’ll look at situations outside that if the fundamentals are right. We typically get involved where:
The business is a distressed or underperforming asset that needs operational attention more than a new strategy
An owner is looking for a full or partial exit and wants a buyer who’ll actually run the business, not flip it
There’s a bolt-on opportunity for one of our existing businesses
A management team wants an investment partner rather than a traditional PE process
